TMKOC actor Sunil Holkar dies at 40; asked friend to post goodbye message

Sunil Holkar dead: Sunil Holkar who rose to prominence after appearing in the longest-running sitcom Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah died at 40.  Over the years, the actor has not only appeared in numerous shows, but has also appeared in several hit Marathi films and performed in theatre. Sunil’s untimely death has had a significant impact on the entertainment industry. The actor died after a long battle with liver cirrhosis, for which he was receiving treatment.

 

Sunil Holkar asked friend to post goodbye message 

Sunil knew his health was deteriorating and sensed his death when he spoke about it. The Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actor insisted his friend to post a Goodbye message. Sunil wanted to thank everyone for their support and apologise for any hurt he had caused. Sunil’s most recent WhatsApp status in Marathi reads, “Friends, this is my final message to you. This friend of yours has gone to be with the Lord. Please forgive me if I have ever said or done something incorrectly. Goodbye, I had requested that a friend post this on my behalf.”

Sunil Holkar has been a part of the entertainment industry for the past 12 years. Sunil’s career spanned the theatre, television, and even the big screen. Sunil has appeared in several shows, including Madam Sir, Wagle Ki Duniya – Nayi Peedhi Naye Kissey, and others, in addition to Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Sunil Holkar has been involved in theatre drama for more than a decade. He has also worked at Ashok Hande’s Chaurang Natya Sansthan. The late actor also appeared in Marathi films such as Mandali Tumchyasathi Kay Pan, Lau Ka Laath, Sagla Karun Bhagle, and others. Sunil Holkar was most recently seen in the national award-winning Marathi film “Goshth Eka Paithanichi.”
