Telangana Minister sparks controversy with his speech at Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal event: ‘Poora rule karega humara Telugu…’

Telangana minister Malla Reddy spoke in the favour of Telugu industry but his selection of words hurt the sentiments of fans because he chose wrong words while praising the celebrities.

The cast of the movie Animal, along with a few special guests, attended the pre-release event on Friday in Hyderabad. In addition to actor Mahesh Babu and director SS Rajamouli, Telangana politician Malla Reddy served as Telangana’s Minister of Labor and Employment. His remark regarding “Telugu ruling over India” caused a stir. He was on the stage and addressing the event and he started praising the Telugu industry in such a way that some people got hurt and they started reacting on the internet.

Malla Reddy took the mic and started addressing the people who came to attend the event. Ranbir Kapoor is playing the lead role in the film. He said to him in Hindi, “Ranbir ji, aapko ek baat bolna chahta hu. Agla paanch saal mein, poore Hindustan ko, Bollywood, Hollywood, poora ruling karega humara Telugu people. Aap bhi ek saal ke baad Hyderabad shift hona padta. Kyu bole toh Bombay purana ho gaya. Bangalore traffic jam ho gaya. Hindustan mein ek hi city hai woh hai Hyderabad.”

During his speech, he praised South celebrities SS Rajamouli, Mahesh Babu, and Animal director Sandeep Reddy Vanga. He also showered Rashmika Mandanna with praise for her remarkable performances throughout her career in the film industry.

Fans aren’t happy with his speech

His speech was not well-received by fans and they reacted to the video. Fans expressed their disappointment regarding his speech at the event. They praised Ranbir for smiling throughout his speech.
