Bhojpuri Star Power Fades! Why did Dinesh Lal Yadav Nirahua Lose in Azamgarh despite BJP’s Hard Work?

The Bhojpuri celebrities were astonished to see an improbable outcome in the Lok Sabha elections, which stunned the whole country. Based on historical trends, the NDA now holds 293 seats, the All India Alliance holds 232 seats, and additional parties hold 18 seats. While several prominent seats have already been decided, the patterns have not yet entirely translated into results.

Azamgarh Lok Sabha Seat is one of these Lok Sabha seats. Nirahua, the popular Bhojpuri actor, ran for this seat on the BJP platform but was defeated handily. Given that Nirahua had previously won the elections, why was this defeat occurring? Let’s take a look at the calculations –

BJP Promoted Work in Azamgarh

After getting a huge victory in the year 2019, a lot of work has been done by the BJP in the country and Uttar Pradesh. Along with this, during the election campaign in Azamgarh, all those works were counted by the BJP high command as well as Nirahua. This was the reason that a lot of crowd was seen in the election campaign of BJP. CM Yogi including PM Modi had done a lot of rallies here.

Dharmendra Yadav has won this seat. SP’s Dharmendra Yadav has won from here by 1 lakh 61 thousand 35 votes. At the same time, BJP’s Dinesh Lal Yadav Nirahua has been in second place. Nirahua has got 3 lakh 47 thousand 204 votes from here.

Why did Dinesh Lal Yadav Nirahua lose?

Although Akhilesh Yadav left the Azamgarh seat in 2022 to run in the assembly elections, the seat is still regarded as the SP’s fort. Following that, this place saw by-elections, which were won by Bhojpuri actor and singer Dinesh Lal Yadav, also known as Nirahua, over Dharmendra Yadav. Akhilesh Yadav defeated him in 2019; but, in 2022, the roles were reversed. Once more, the BJP put Nirahua in the running for the Azamgarh seat, expressing their faith in him, but Nirahua was unsuccessful this time.

We are going to tell you about the several significant factors that contributed to Bhojpuri actor Nirahua’s downfall. The SP’s stronghold has been the Azamgarh seat. Yadav and Muslim candidates have consistently won in this area since 1971. Many now think that Shah Alam Guddu Jamali of the BSP is mostly to blame for the victory of the SP against Nirahua in Azamgarh. He is with SP this time, which is why Nirahua lost. Every Azamgarhi politician, from Mulayam Singh Yadav to Akhilesh Yadav, has run for office. Nirahua’s failure to win over the Yadavs in this circumstance was the cause of his downfall.
