He hosted his popular reality show Kaun Banega Crorepati on his birthday and received birthday wishes from the audience and the contestants. He became emotional after getting birthday wishes from the contestants who had won crores from the show and became the real crorepati after coming to the show. Apart from the contestants, actors Anupam Kher and Chiranjeevi’s wishes also made him emotional.

Amitabh Bachchan was asking questions to the contestant and suddenly Amitabh was stunned to see Anupam Kher on the screen. The Kashmir Files actor showered him with praise for his dedication towards Kaun Banega Crorepati for 23 years. After him, contestants who won more than ₹1 crore on the show also appeared on the screen and they also praised Big B for his kindness and humble nature towards them and other contestants. These messages made him emotional and he was left in tears.
South superstar Chiranjeevi also praised Amitabh Bachchan while calling him ‘motivation.’ Ending his message for Big B, Chiranjeevi called him ‘Forever Guru.’
