Exercise and diet go hand in hand. To get the best results from either of those habits, the other needs to be followed as well. To become bodily healthy, one has to work while following a healthy diet as well. Many prefer working out in the morning while others at night. Before working out, certain foods are especially beneficial while some are not as beneficial before you work out. Therefore, it is important to keep in mind what kind of food or snacks you eat. There are specific things that are snackable and help you get ready for your workout.

Banana

Banana is a great source of potassium which people generally take before working out. It can be eaten as is or can be made into a smoothie with a couple of other ingredients. The carbs mixed with potassium present in the fruit enhance muscle performance

oats

Oats are one of the healthiest meals, that can be eaten for breakfast, before your gym. This is a huge source of fibre that keeps the energy up and increases Stamina

Yoghurt

Yoghurt is high in lactic acid and is rich in carbohydrates makes it a perfect pre-workout meal

Berries

Berries not only improve brain function but also is a source of fluid and complex carbs, making your gym performance more efficient

Trail Mix

this is a filling snack that has carbs and protein, which is often consumed before workouts by gym regulars.

Boiled Egg

These contain a lot of nutrients and proteins, making them the perfect alternative to meat. Moreover, this enhances your muscle performance and overall energy.

Sprouts

Sprouts are a great source of fibre, protein and vitamins that cater to all of the body’s needs and are a perfect pre-workout snack.

Whole grain bread with peanut butter

Whole grain bread is rich in fibre and nutrients while peanut butter is rich in protein. It can be taken pre-gym to feel energetic throughout your workout.
