BTS’ Jungkook recently surfaced on the internet over his facial resemblance to the famous Korean actor, Shim Hyung Tak’s wife, Hirai Saya. Shim Hyung Tak, known for his roles in famous Kdramas such as The Road Home and Three Sisters, got engaged in April 2023 to Hirai Saya, who is 18 years younger than the actor. The couple later got married in Japan, Hirai’s home country, where they had a traditional Japanese ceremony, in July 2023. Hirai Saya is not a famous personality, however, recently she has caught a lot of attention from netizens over her facial resemblance to a K-pop star, Jungkook of the famous group, BTS.
Harai Saya and Jungkook’s uncanny resemblance
After Shim Hyung Tak’s official announcement of his engagement to Hirai, the couple appeared on Tv chosun’s, Lovers of Joseon where Harai was first introduced. Upon her appearance, the internet noticed the uncanny resemblance she held to BTS’s Jungkook. Since then, Hirai has been in the spotlight for the same reason. In addition to that, both Hirai and Jungkook acknowledged this and agreed with the claims.

Would Jungkook be invited to Shim Hyung Tak and Hirai Saya’s wedding?
Later, Shim Hyung Tak and Hirai appeared in a Korean reality show called Men’s Life These Days: Groom’s Class. Although the couple are married, they revealed that they would be having a Korean wedding ceremony as well. During the interview, Hirai gets asked who she would like to invite to the wedding. Among one of her names was the BTS star, Jungkook. Moreover, she expressed her love for the band and exclaimed that she is a total fan. In fact, Shim Hyung Tak and Hirai Saya, both are huge fans of BTS and they unanimously expressed their desire to invite Jungkook to their wedding. However, Shim also acknowledged that the possibility of Jungkook attending their wedding is questionable as he is a megastar and might be busy. Although speculations are being made, the internet wants to know whether Jungkook would actually be invited to the wedding.
