For many years, BTS member V aka Kim Taehyung has been known to release a song or a cover over the Christmas season. This year, BTS’s vocalist continued his holiday habit by sharing a cover of It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas. Before revealing the cover, the singer teased fans with an Instagram story about it.

The performer crooned to the holiday song, adding low and heavy vocals that gave the song a new flavor. “It’s starting to look a lot like Christmas/And the thing that will make them ring is the song that you sing/Right inside your heart,” V sung, continuing, “And the thing that will make them ring is the carol that you sing/Right within your heart.” In the video, the artist is accompanied by his pet Yeontan, who is seen recording the song at his studio.
After enduring quite a few headlines this year, the BTS ARMY ends the year on a more positive note. This year, the members announced that they will continue with their mandatory military service according to their own schedules. Jin, the oldest member, has already enlisted and is serving in the military.
About V’s Solo Singles
In terms of V’s holiday tradition, the singer released his OST, Christmas Tree, over the holiday season. The song was written for the K-drama Our Beloved Summer. He previously published the song Snow Flower, Winter Bear, Sweet Night. Meanwhile, V is working on his solo music album, which is set to be published next year.
