Shahrukh Khan: After the raging success of the movie, Jawan, Shahrukh Khan attended the Jawan Special Event held at the YRF Studios in Mumbai. Since the release of the film, Jawan has crossed the 1000 crore mark in the global box office collection, breaking many records. Therefore, the actor was invited to the Jawan special event as the chief guest and many fans were present waiting for him to take the stage. Not only did he speak to his fans, but he also delivered a few iconic dialogues from the movie, giving it a cheeky Shahrukh Khan twist.
Shahrukh Khan arrives late to the Jawan special event
Firstly, Shahrukh Khan came a little late for the event. He started by apologising as he was caught up with another press interview in Mumbai. He proceeded to tell the audience about the interaction he had with his team asking, “Thoda late ho jaunga toh log maaf toh kar denge na” meaning “If I end up being late, they will forgive me right? ” to which his team said that “people will not forgive you, but they will wait, and will later rebuke you.”

He also delivered the iconic ‘Main kaun hoon’ monologue from Jawan. He starts by saying the monologue in full Shahrukh Khan fashion. As he proceeds to deliver the monologue, he pauses by asking the audience whether he is saying it correctly or not with a smile. This brings a lot of cheer from the audience. As he reaches the end of the monologue, he does not finish the line and gives a cheeky smile as he waits for the audience to finish the line. The audience finishes it for him bringing cheer and applause throughout the crowd.
Shahrukh Khan gives a twist to another famous line from the movie, “Bete ko haath lagaane se pehle, baap se baat kar”. Instead of this, he says, “Beti ki taraf aankh uthaane se bhi pehle baap se baat kar”, saying that it should be for all the girls and women.
