Considering this, the Maharashtra security agencies have increased the security of the superstar and he got Y+ security cover urgently. The Mumbai Police officials confirmed the security cover but they didn’t reveal any details about the threats.
Shah Rukh Khan gets Y+ security
On October 5, Indian Express reported that the Maharashtra State Intelligence Department informed all the commissioners, district police and special protection unit (SPUs) to provide Y+ security cover to Shah Rukh Khan with immediate effect. The police informed the news agency that the decision was taken by the officials after reviewing the threats given to Shah Rukh Khan.
What will SRK get in Y+ Security?
SRK will get 11 security personnel, including 6 commandos, 4 police officers, and a traffic clearance vehicle, as part of the security detail. According to a police source, the officers would be stationed at Shah Rukh’s Mumbai residence Mannat. The actor will pay for his own protection, and he will be protected until the next high-level committee recommendation and review committee decision.
For the unversed, Bollywood actor Salman Khan also got Y+ security after receiving back-to-back threats from gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.
