Box Office Collection: The Shahrukh Khan starrer has become the blockbuster of the year. Not only that, this film stands up there with the biggest Indian films of all time, such as Bahubali, KGF and Pathaan. Even before the release of this mega-hit film, the audience was extremely hyped to see their favourite superstar on the big screen yet again. With its pan-India release, this movie was released in three languages, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. Directed by the infamous Tamil director Atlee, this action thriller had theatres packed, breaking a new record every single day since its release.
Jawan hauls the biggest number in Hindi cinema after its first week
According to the reports by Sacnilk, this Shahrukh Khan film made 75 crore in India on its opening day. On the second day, it made 53 crore. However, there was a hike on the weekend, with 77 crores on Saturday and 80 crores on Sunday. On Monday, the film made 32 crores followed by Tuesday when it made, 26 crore. On its 7th day, Jawan made a total of 23.3 crores in India, with 21.5 crores in Hindi. In Tamil, it made 0.95 crore and 0.85 crore in Telugu. The film currently stands at a total collection of 368.37 crore, breaking the record to become the first Hindi film to reach this number so swiftly. Moreover, the record was first held by another 2023 Shahrukh Khan Starrer, Pathaan. The movie has already crossed the 600 crore limit, making a total of 621 crore worldwide, at the global box -office.
