Aishwarya Rai Bachchan Stands Against Street Harassment at The L’Oréal Event In Mumbai; Watch

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has not only stunned us with her amazing acting performances but also with her strong messages on social issues. During the L’Oréal standup event in Mumbai, she not only served looks but also took a second to talk about the concerning issue of street harassment.

Aishwarya Rai’s relationship with L’Oréal

This actress has been associated with the French brand, L’Oréal, since the early 2000s. Not only this, she has been a brand ambassador for this cosmetics company since 2004. Along with her, actresses such as Eva Longoria and Penélope Cruz have been associated with the brand. Recently, the supermodel, Kendall Jenner has been declared the global brand ambassador of the company.

L’Oréal Standup campaign

L’Oréal started the standup campaign a few years ago. This campaign was to fight the social issue of street harassment of both men and women, making the world a safer space. Aishwarya Rai attended the event in Paris for this campaign. Recently, she attended the Mumbai event of this campaign, where other celebrities like Gauahar Khan, Tejasswi Prakash, Aditi Rao Hydari and many more were in attendance. Aishwarya Rai attended the event in a black ensemble that consisted of a long blazer with a long loose sleeve. However, the sleeves had a huge silver border detailing. This long coat went onto her shoes with a design on the bottom as well. She wore a black palazzo with a similar design, giving a regal look.

Aishwarya Rai takes a stand against street harassment

As she attended the event, she took a second to talk about the issue of street harassment. She takes a moment to spread awareness on this saying, “On behalf of L’Oreal Paris family, I thank you for being here, it’s an important event because it talks about a very important issue of street harassment against women, but I think it holds true for both genders. What’s important is that people feel safe and protected. L’Oreal Paris is working with Right To Be an NGO that is looking to end harassment of all forms and they have the Stand Up program against street harassment,”
