Best on Amazon Prime Video: See what to watch now

Best on Amazon Prime Video: Amazon Prime has been delivering hit-after-hit recently. The streamer’s summer selection was one for the books, especially with the new acquisition of MGM Studios. Here are some of the best movies available on the streaming platform right now.

Originally titled Ironbark, The Courier stars Benedict Cumberbatch in the lead role of Greville Wynne, a real-life British businessman who was recruited by intelligence officers to serve as a messenger, communicating with a valuable Soviet spy in Moscow. The Lost City is a hilarious romantic adventure comedy starring superstars Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum. Bullock plays a reclusive writer who is kidnapped by an eccentric billionaire and forced to hunt for a long-lost treasure. She also receives some unexpected help in this endeavor from her book cover model, played by Tatum.

3. The Talented Mr. Ripley (1999)

Adapted from Patricia Highsmith’s 1955 novel of the same name, The Talented Mr. Ripley features one of Matt Damon’s most memorable roles as he plays the titular con-man. The film was nominated for five Academy Awards and is unsettling and suspenseful, with a strong sense of tension that never lets up, even till the very end.

4. House of Gucci (2021)

House of Gucci was created by the talented Ridley Scott, featuring a star-studded cast ranging from Lady Gaga who plays Patrizia Reggiani to Jared Leto as Paolo Gucci, and of course Adam Driver, the titular Maurizio Gucci.
