Devoleena Bhattacharjee: After being married, Devoleena Bhattacharjee has once again entered the spotlight. Devoleena made the marriage announcement to Shanawaz Sheikh just a few days ago. She has had a lot of trolling since then as well. In a recent interview, she discussed whether or not she will continue to play bold roles.

Devoleena opens up on taking bold roles after marriage
According to the actress, “I don’t think marriage can be an excuse not to take on bold roles. I’ve never performed in such roles before. Intimacy is still not marketed on television nowadays. But if it does, in the future, TV will air similar content, or if I work on any digital show, then everything will rely on the situation and narrative. Anything that doesn’t work will not be done by me. I will only accept a role that I feel at ease in and that my audience and family find appealing.”
Devoleena was questioned about whether she would participate in other reality shows in the future during the interview. She said, “I’m ready for any decent show, whether it’s fiction or fact. I’m not sure why, but right now I don’t want to compete in Bigg Boss. Don’t trust what I say. I have a special place in my heart for that house. So sure, in the future, I do intend to take on better and more difficult parts. Trying out several roles is something I’m considering.”
Devoleena gives reply to trollers
Many people were trolling the actress for her marriage. Many had questioned the actress’ choice for court marriage. As a result, people also compared Devoleena to Alia Bhatt. Devoleena secretly married, according to trolls, in order to hide her pregnancy. In response, Devoleena remarked, “I don’t need to justify anything to anyone, but there are people around who think that I’m pregnant and hence I got married all of a sudden. I’m shocked and feel sad for people who make such poor comments.”
Further she added, “This is another level of hypocrisy that you can’t let go of any single opportunity to torture someone. They can’t see anyone happy. It’s frustrating at times. Why does one need to poke so much into someone’s life? But later I laughed at these comments and let go. I seriously don’t know what is coming next.”

For nearly three years, Devoleena hid her relationship with Shanawaz. She surprised her fans by sharing pictures of herself and her husband during their December 14 wedding ceremony.
Following their court wedding, the couple decided to have a traditional ceremony in Lonavala. It was attended only by close people. At the gym, Devoleena’s personal trainer is Shanawaz.

Regarding her professional career, Devoleena rose to fame for her portrayal of the Gopi Bahu in the well-known series “Saath Nibhaana Saathiya.” She also had a special role in the sequel of the programme.
Additionally, Devoleena has made appearances in other shows like “Laal Ishq” and participated in “Bigg Boss” for two seasons.
