DCW Chief Swati Maliwal Threatened to Get Raped After She Requests Sajid Khan’s Removal from Bigg Boss 16

Bigg Boss 16: Chief of the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW), Swati Maliwal, claimed on Wednesday that she has been receiving rape threats after writing to the Centre to demand that filmmaker Sajid Khan be removed from the reality series “Bigg Boss 16.”

Maliwal had written to Anurag Thakur, the Minister of Information and Broadcasting, informing him that multiple women had accused Khan of sexual harassment during the #MeToo campaign.

The DCW chief claimed in a report to the Delhi Police’s Cyber Crime Cell that after raising the issue, she started receiving rape threats on social media.

She commanded the police to file a FIR and to take the suspects into custody right away.

Maliwal earlier on Monday stated in a Hindi tweet, “During the #MeToo movement, Sajid Khan was accused of sexual harassment by ten women. All of these grievances expose Sajid’s repulsive worldview. Now, this man has a spot on Bigg Boss, which is incorrect. In order to have Sajid Khan removed from this show, I have written to @ianuragthakur.” Must Read: Dad-to-Be Ranbir Kapoor Had a Quick Selfie Session with his Little Fans after an Ad Shoot. After numerous women accused Sajid Khan of sexual harassment in 2018, the Indian Film and Television Directors’ Association (IFTDA) put him on a one-year suspension. He quit earlier that year as director of “Houseful 4,” and Farhad Samji took over.   DNP ENTERTAINMENT FOLLOW US:  FACEBOOKINSTAGRAM, and TWITTER.
