Yashoda will stream in different languages
Yashoda will be streamable in Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi. Director Hareesh Narayan said, “When Yashoda was written, we knew that the audience would find this thrilling adventure worth watching. Samantha’s performance and the incredible work done by the team have all paid off well. We are extremely thrilled with the response that the film has gotten across the country and cannot wait for the response of the global audience.”
Yashoda premiered in theatres a month ago to mixed reviews. The search for a woman’s lost sister is the key plot of the movie. A large-scale, questionably legal surrogacy system is the background for the movie.
Co-director refers to movie as a ‘Masterpiece’
Co-director K Hari Shankar referred to the movie as a “masterpiece.” Further he added, “Yashoda is a rare masterpiece in India’s sci-fi genre, and a lot of exemplary minds have come together to bring the story to screen. Such stories from the south Indian film industry are doing wonders pan-India, and that in itself is a matter of great pride for the team.”
The movie reportedly did well at the box office despite the mixed reviews. It was recognised as Samantha’s biggest solo hit to date. In the movie, Samantha plays a pregnant lady who takes down a criminal organisation by herself.
