Nayanthara’s Connect Trailer Out: The eagerly awaited Connect official trailer has finally been released. Nayanthara plays the lead in this upcoming horror thriller. The teaser was uploaded on the official YouTube account of Rowdy Pictures at 12 AM, today (December 9, Friday). This year’s December 22 has been set for the eagerly anticipated movie, which has been directed by Ashwin Saravanan. It’s interesting to note that Connect is anticipated to become the first Tamil movie to ever enter theatres without an intermission break.

Connect trailer released
Connect movie’s official trailer shows the happy life of a small family, which includes the couple Nayanthara and Vinay Rai, their teenage daughter, and the elderly father. After the lockdown starts, their usually “normal” routine is turned on its head by their daughter’s abrupt behaviour change. The trailer shows the Nayanthara-played character Susan trying to figure out why her business calls are constantly interrupted, which leads her to reveal something about her kid. Later, Susan, helped by her father and an exorcist, is seen attempting to control the situation and save her daughter while her husband, a doctor, is away at work working for Covid.
The Connect trailer is an immersive experience thanks to Manikantan Krishnamachary’s superb visualisation and Prithvi Chandrasekhar’s entrancing background tune. It is clear from the teaser that the eagerly anticipated film will revolutionise how Tamil cinema approaches horror thrillers.

Senior actor Sathyaraj plays Susan’s father in the Ashwin Saravanan-directed movie. With the eagerly anticipated movie, senior Bollywood actor Anupam Kher makes his debut in Tamil cinema as an exorcist. The teen daughter of Susan in the movie is played by Haniya Nafisa. The highly awaited movie is produced by Nayanthara’s husband and acclaimed filmmaker Vignesh Shivan, under the label of Rowdy Pictures.
