KGF fame Krishna G Rao passes away at the age of 70, condolences pour in

Krishna G Rao: Krishna G Rao, best known for his role of a blind man in KGF Chapter 1, passed away from a disease brought on by ageing.

Krishna G Rao passed away on Wednesday at the age of 70 at a private hospital in Bengaluru. As per the reports, he was visiting a relative and he suddenly complained of a breathing problem and was taken to the hospital. He was then immediately brought to the ICU due to a lung infection.

KGF’s offical Twitter account shares condolence

KGF’s offical Twitter account shared his photo and wrote the caption, “Condolences from Hombale film team on the passing away of Krishna G Rao, fondly known as Thatha by KGF fans. Om Shanti.” As people get to know about this news, they are in shock. Some people started commenting on the post shared by the KGF’s official Twitter account. One user wrote, “Om shaanti”, other one wrote, “RIP”, another wrote, “we will miss you”, one wrote, “may his soul rest in peace”.


One of the film’s highlights is the scene where Krishna tells a villain not to get in the way of Rocky Bhai (Yash), which has since been referenced in memes and slangs.

Krishna G worked in Kannada industry for several years

Although Krishna just became famous after KGF, he had been working in the industry for many years as an assistant director and in modest roles. After KGF, he starred as the movie’s nameake in the upcoming movie Nano Narayanappa. Few months ago, the trailer of the film was released.

He portrayed an elderly supporting actor who was in desperate need of money to pay for his wife’s medical treatment.
