Chandrayan 3: ISRO has made the nation proud yet again with its astounding feat by launching the third lunar exploration mission via the space shuttle, Chandrayaan-3. The shuttle is expected to land today on the South Pole of the moon under the piloting of Vikram Sarabhai making India the first nation to do so. The team along with all involved have been receiving applause from all over the nation in various depictions and now, several celebrities from the South such as, R Madhavan, Prakash Raj, Rishab Shetty, Lavanya Tripathi, etc. have joined the league.
South Celebrities pay homage to ISRO
R Madhavan has often been inclined a tad toward Sci-fi interests which is evident from his film Rocketry. He wrote a wholesome tweet on X (formerly called Twitter) wishing the entire Chandrayaan-3 team success and imparting words of appreciation.
Rishab Shetty also showed his excitement for the huge accomplishment and shared Chandrayaan-3’s pictures from the moon. In addition, he did something even more beautiful as he requested for prayers for the safe landing of the vessel. Lavanya Tripathi was not far behind for she also took the opportunity to express her pride in the nation and the team.
Prakash Raj’s ‘different’ expression on the matter
Widely acclaimed actor Prakash Raj, best known for his amazing acting skills in portraying negative roles also had something quite different to add on the matter. Prakash has been known to land up in several controversies due to his comments on sensitive matters both online and offline. Some time ago the actor had posted a picture on X (formerly called Twitter) in relation to Chandrayaan-3, for which he received heavy criticism. Prakash uploaded caricature of what appears to be a man dressed in South Indian casual attire (a shirt and a lungi) brewing tea artistically from one cup to another. He captioned the picture, “BREAKING NEWS:- First picture coming from the Moon by #VikramLander Wowww #justasking.” Netizens had attacked him heavily for this and surprisingly he was also booked in a police station of Karnataka’s Bagalkot district. He reposted the tweet with the caption, “Hate sees only Hate… I was referring to a joke of #Armstrong times… celebrating our Kerala Chaiwala.. which Chaiwala did the TROLLS see??.. if you don’t get a joke then the joke is on you.. GROW UP #justasking.”
