Urvashi Rautela follows a strict diet that is inspired by the ancient Indian medicine, Ayurveda

Urvashi Rautela, the Indian actress, undergoes discipline and a healthy diet to achieve her toned body. The actress made her debut in the film industry in 2013, with  Singh Saab the Great, a Bollywood movie. Since then, the actress has appeared in several movies, music videos and other shows and pageants. Therefore, she has to adhere to a fitness routine and a strict diet plan to keep her body fit and healthy. However, she does not adhere to any fad diets to lose weight. Instead, she goes for a rather simple Ayurvedic diet that keeps her body fit and weight in check.

Ayurveda Diet

Urvashi Rautela’s nutritionist, Shweta Shah reveals her meal plan that is inspired by the ancient medicine practice, of Ayurveda. This form of medicine relies on natural ways to fight any form of ailment. Moreover, it focuses on holistic well-being, which includes physical and mental health. Ayurvedic diet mainly consists of Vegetarian foods. These include organic whole foods like srprouts, grains, nuts, herbs and spices, vegetables, legumes and fruits. Processed food is generally avoided in the Ayurvedic diet and more raw food is consumed.

Urvashi Rautela’s breakfast

For breakfast, the actress likes to have eggs with an organic protein shake after her workout. Or else, she will have poha with a side of sprouts. On top of this, she likes to snack on fruits in the morning. She especially loves strawberries and grapes.

Urvashi Rautela’s Lunch

For lunch, she likes to have a simple homemade meal. Most days she prefers eating roti and sabzi with a side of salad to form a balanced diet.

Urvashi Rautela’s Dinner

Urvashi Rautela ensures a protein-rich dinner. For dinner, she likes to eat grilled chicken or Fish. Along with this, she liked to have dudhi Mathias, a common Gujarati food or paneer.
