Avneet Kaur along with several others have jumped in on the ice facial trend. Check out its benefits.

Skincare Tips: Recently, several skincare trends have been popular on the internet, especially on social media platforms such as TikTok and Instagram. One of the latest trends is the skin icing trend that is circulating on the internet. Not only has this trend become extremely popular, but silicone ice rollers are being bought in enormous amounts. Avneet Kaur, the Indian actress and dancer, also swears by this method for smooth skin

Avneet Kaur swears by ice facial

In a video shared by her on 4th September 2023, she revealed a few snippets from her skincare routine. Therefore, one of them was putting ice on the skin. She said that in the mornings, her skin feels very puffy. Therefore, she likes to rub some ice cubes her under eyes and other areas where the skin feels puffy.

How does ice help skin?

  • Icing the face constricts the blood vessels which results in the reduction of inflammation. Therefore it fights acne and blemishes
  • It improves the blood circulation of the skin. Therefore, it brings out a flushed glow to the skin and brightens it.
  • It soothes the skin of sunburns and rashes
  • It diminishes the appearance of the pores

Although ice facial has instant results and helps with a lot of skin issues, do not do it in excess. Regular icing on the skin can be harmful to people with sensitive skin. Moreover, do not put the ice directly onto the skin. Cover it with a plastic wrap or cloth. Otherwise, blood capillaries could burst.
