Stray Kids recently released their seventh-mini album MAXIDENT with the title track CASE 143 on October 7. After dropping the album, it collected a record sale of 2.24 million in stock pre-orders setting a new personal best. It surpassed their last with close to one million more added. The interesting part is that the album will come after 10 days and the pre-order collected the huge numbers.

On the release day, the album was recorded over 1.3 million albums sold on the first day. These sales made a promising path for the whole album that it can be successfully hit. After that, it was noted that Stray Kids’ latest album sold a total of 2,001,910 copies till October 12, 6:05pm KST. It take only 6 days to the album to achieve the big number and become double million sellers. It’s a big success for Stray Kids as it’s their first time to reach big numbers.

These records make Stray Kids only the third act in the history of Hanteo to record 2 million album sales in just a week. Reaching the high numbers in just 6 days has made them the second fastest ever to do so, on the platform, just behind BTS. They are the only 4th group to be on the list of 2 million sales in less than a week.
Stray Kids is eyeing on another success of No.1 album with MAXIDENT, following the path of their sixth album ODDINARY. This album was released in March.
