Selena Gomez reveals what it takes to change her Relationship status; watch video

Selena Gomez, the renowned singer and actress, has laid out the criteria for anyone aiming to change her single relationship status. In a recent interview with SiriusXM Hits 1 LA, she opened up about her song “Single Soon” and the standards she holds dear in her quest for love.

Not High-Maintenance, Just Standards

Addressing the lyric in her song where she humorously refers to herself as “a little high-maintenance,” Selena clarified, “I have standards, and I think I live in a world right now where boys confuse standards with high maintenance. It really isn’t the same thing.”

She emphasized that her requirements are not excessive but rather necessary for a healthy relationship.

The Traits She Looks For

According to her, it’s about being a genuinely good person. “You gotta be cool, man,” she explained. “Not cool in the sense that people think you’re cool. You just gotta be nice, and please make me laugh and also just be good to my family and people around you.” These traits reflect her desire for a kind-hearted and humorous partner who values family.

Selena Gomez, who announced her single status in a TikTok video earlier this year, is in no rush to change that. While recounting the episode with athletic soccer players who may have met her standards, she humorously noted, “They didn’t hear me, and they didn’t really care, so I was just like, ‘Alright…'” Despite these amusing encounters, Gomez is content with her current situation.

A New Album on the Horizon

Fans of Selena Gomez can look forward to her upcoming album, tentatively titled SG3. She has promised that this album will be different from her previous ones, with no sad songs. Instead, it will feature “beautiful songs that are really fun, energetic, pop as pop can be.” This reflects her current state of happiness and self-assuredness.
