Avatar: The Way of Water Day 15 Collection: The global box office for James Cameron’s “Avatar: The Way of Water” is booming. It broke a record as the movie with the quickest $1 billion collection and still doing well in India. “Avatar 2” is on the way to set more records and doesn’t appear to be slowing down. The movie is still doing well on its fifteenth day, and with weekend happening, the collection is likely to be more higher.

Avatar: The Way of Water collection in India

“Avatar: The Way of Water” collected in amazing second-week earnings of almost Rs. 98 crore ($13.5 million), showing a good hold with a dip of less than 50% from its exceptional first week. The film’s overall gross, which is already over Rs. 300 Cr., is expected to increase over the next few days.

After “Avengers: Endgame,” which collected Rs. 367 crore ($50.5 million), it has become the second Hollywood movie to reach this milestone. The possibility exists for “Avatar: The Way of Water” to beat “Avengers: Endgame” as the highest-grossing Hollywood movie in India. But a lot will will depend on how it performs on Monday and over the next few weeks.

Avatar is performing better in India than other region

The movie has performed substantially better in India than its predecessor, “Avatar”, from 2009, and has showed excellent growth for Hollywood.

When compared to other major markets across the world, India has seen a considerable increase in the movie’s performance over its predecessor, “Avatar”, which it replaced in 2009.
