Top 10 IMDb films: On IMDb’s list of the top Indian movies of 2022, The Kashmir Files is the lone Bollywood movie. Even Brahmastra was disqualified.
The list of IMDb’s top ten movies of 2022 have been announced. Surprisingly, just one Hindi film made it to the top 10. The Kashmir Files by Vivek Agnihotri came in second, with SS Rajamouli’s RRR taking first place. The actual page views of the site’s more than 200 million monthly visitors are used by IMDb to compile its list of the most well-liked films.

About the movies
RRR centres on two real-life Indian rebels from the 1920s: Alluri Sitarama Raju (played by Ram Charan) and Komaram Bheem (played by Jr. NTR). Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi were the five languages that the movie was released in. Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt also have significant parts in it. This week, it was nominated for the Best Song and Best Foreign Film Golden Globe Awards as well.
The Kashmir Files, a film written and directed by Vivek Agnihotri, depicts the evacuation of Kashmiri Hindus from Kashmir when militants supported by Pakistan killed members of the Hindu community. One of the most financially successful Hindi films of the year, the movie was released to mixed reviews on March 11.
Brahmastra not in the top ten
Brahmastra, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, but not on the list was a surprise. The movie, a fantasy picture with a huge budget, is the top grossing Hindi movie of the year.

Vikram, Ponniyin Selvan: Part One, Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, RRR, Major, and Sita Ramam from the Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada cinema industries are all strongly represented on the list of the Most Popular Indian Movies of 2022. The biopics Major and The Nambi Effect made the list of rocketry movies.
In Ponniyin Selvan: Part One and Vikram, two of the Most Popular Movies of 2022, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Kamal Haasan made their film comeback after five-year absences.
