Pakistani actress Sajal Ali to receive ‘Tamgha-e-Imtiaz’ for her remarkable acting career; deets inside

One of the most famous and talented Pakistani actresses Sajal Ali will be awarded with the President Arif Alvi ‘Tamgha-e-Imtiaz’ Award at the inaugural ceremony on Pakistan Day on March 23, 2024. A total of 694 civic awards were announced by the president on August 14, including Nishan-e-Imtiaz (7), Hilal-e-Pakistan (2), Hilal-e-Shujaat (1), Hilal-e- Imtiaz (26). ), Hilal-e-Quaid-i-Azam (18) Sitara-e-Pakistan (1), Sitara-e-Shujaat (20), Sitara-e-Imtiaz (60), President Award for Pride of Performance (70) , Sitara -e-Quaid-i-Azam (3), Sitara-e-Khidmat (4), Tamgha-e-Shuja’at (24), Tamgha-e-Imtiaz (458).

Sajal Ali has given wonderful performances

The civilian award is in recognition of the actor’s outstanding contribution to the field of acting for more than a decade, an official statement released on Wednesday said. In smooth command of the lens, Ali is a powerhouse, oozing with serious gravity and considerable charisma. A career spanning more than a decade with performances that garnered both critical and commercial acclaim across Pakistan’s borders with films like ‘Mother’ and the recently released Hollywood film What’s Love, it has Lilly James, Emma Thompson, and producer Jemina Khan.

In a career spanning 14 years, Sajal Ali has been recognized by audiences worldwide with memorable performances such as Nanhi, O Ranrgreza, Yaqeen ka Safar, Aangan, Alif, Sannata, Sinf-e-Ahan, Ye Dil Mera, Chup Raho, Gule, Rana, Mohabbat Jae Bhar Mai, Noorulain, Kuch Ankahi to name a few.
