The actor’s representative broke the news of Manoj Bajpayee’s mother’s passing. The actor’s mother Geeta Devi passed away on Thursday at 8:30 am at the Delhi hospital after being ill for more than 20 days,

Manoj Bajpayee’s mother passes away 

Manoj Bajpayee’s mother Geeta Devi breathed her last on Thursday, according to the actor’s spokeswoman. “Geeta Devi, the mother of Manoj Bajpayee, passed away at 8:30 this morning. She had been receiving treatment at Max Super Speciality Hospital for the previous 20 days because she hadn’t been feeling well “the spokesperson’s statement read. Geeta Devi is survived by three daughters and two boys.

Manoj Bapayee had lost his father in October this year. He was 83.

Among many other critically praised movies, Manoj Bajpayee has appeared in Satya, Shool, Pinjar, Gangs of Wasseypur, and Aligarh. The actor has received three National Film Awards for his roles in Satya (for which he got the Best Supporting Actor Award) from 1999, Pinjar (for which he won a special jury National Award) from 2003, and most recently Bhonsle.
