Veteran 3 Idiots actor Akhil Mishra passes away at 58

Akhil Mishra, who appeared in films including Aamir Khan’s ‘3 Idiots’ and ‘Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi,’ died at the age of 58. He allegedly crept inside his Mira Road home’s kitchen. “It was a mistake.  He was discovered wounded on the kitchen floor and died in the hospital. The corpse has now been removed for autopsy. “We’re waiting for the reports,” an IANS source said.

Here’s what his wife said

The actor was allegedly on a stool in the kitchen when he collapsed and injured his head. He was discovered in a pool of blood and rushed to the hospital, but he did not survive and died a few hours later. Suzanne Bernert, Akhil’s wife, who was filming in Hyderabad at the time of the event, verified the story to ETimes. Suzanne told ETimes, “My heart is broken. My second half is gone.” His body has been sent for a postmortem examination. His last rites will take place today at Mira Road.

 Akhil Mishra has appeared in films such as “Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi,” “Gandhi, My Father,” “Well Done, Abba,” and “Don.” He has also appeared in television shows such as ‘Pradhanmantri,’ ‘Udan,’ and ‘Utaran,’ among others. He rose to prominence after appearing as Librarian Dubey in ‘3 Idiots’ and as Umed Singh Bundela in Uttaran, starring Tina Datta and Rashami Desai.
