Tiger 3: The most anticipated third installment to the best spy anthology of Bollywood is set to release this Diwali. Ahead of that, advance bookings have been opened. As expected, the film received tremendous love from fans in the country. However, despite amazing collections on the first day of advance booking, the film could not beat the record of Shah Rukh Khan’s blockbuster movies, ‘Pathaan’ and ‘Jawan’.
Tiger 3 is open for advanced booking
Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif are heading toward the theatres with their most awaited release this year, Tiger 3. The anthology began with the introductory title ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ that commenced the journey of India’s fearless spy, Tiger, and his love Zoya. The third part of the series is going to hit the theatres this Diwali. The advance booking of the film has already been set into motion and the first-day collections were quite astounding. However, these were yet not enough to break the record of Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Pathaan’ and ‘Jawan’.
On the first day of advance booking, Tiger 3 sold out a staggering 142000 tickets overall. When it comes to national chains such as PVR, INOX, and Cinepolis, it sold a total of 60000 tickets despite the occasion of Diwali. However, even after beginning with such an explosive start, Tiger 3 remained far behind Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan and Jawan. Pathaan was released at the beginning of this year a day before Republic Day. It sold out 117000 tickets at the national chains on the first day of advanced booking. As compared to Pathaan, Jawan went a little overboard with 138000 tickets being sold at the national chains for the opening day.

Overall opening day sale of Jawan and Pathaan and how Tiger 3 can fair against them
The overall first-day sales of Jawan and Pathaan were surprisingly off the charts. Pathaan sold out a total of 1081091 tickets while Jawan sold out 1578934 tickets on all platforms. Looking at the first-day advance booking sales of Tiger 3, it doesn’t seem like it would be able to beat Shah Rukh Khan’s staggering records. However, it is too soon to claim anything as of now.
