Gayatri Joshi, who earned fame from Shah Rukh Khan’s Swades film, and her husband Vikas Oberoi are in Italy these days and the news is that both of them have met with an accident there. Gayatri and Vikas are safe in this accident but a Swiss couple has died because it is being told that the car accident was very dangerous. However, its video has also gone viral on social media and Gayatri also told the Free Press Journal that she and her husband are absolutely safe.

Gayatri was quoted as stating, “Vikas and I are in Italy. We met with an accident here.. With gods grace, we both are absolutely fine.” According to the portal, the incident occurred when a Lamborghini and the couple’s Ferrari attempted to overtake a camper van at the same moment, resulting in the Ferrari catching fire and the van flipping. The incident is alleged to have occurred during the Sardinia Supercar Tour, in which luxury vehicles parade from Teulada to Olbia. The collision is said to have been captured on camera, which quickly went viral.

Gayatri won the Femina Miss India International beauty pageant in 2000 and made her acting debut in the 2004 film Swades. In the critically acclaimed Ashutosh Gowariker film, she played Geeta alongside Shah Rukh Khan. Despite receiving several prizes for her debut, she departed the profession shortly after.
