Shefali Shah opens up about facing harassment at young age: ‘I was just scared’

Shefali Shah, a Bollywood actress, has never missed an occasion to dazzle audiences with her extraordinary acting abilities. Whether it’s playing Alia Bhatt’s mother in Darlings or DCP Vartika Chaturvedi in Delhi Crime Season 2, Shah has left no stone untouched in showcasing her acting abilities to the public. While her career is on the rise, the actress recently came up about being harassed at a young age.

Shefali Shah opened up about facing harassment

During a recent interview with News18, Shefali Shah raised the topic of street harassment and said that she experienced it at an early age. She also mentioned how afraid she was and how no one stood up for her.

She said, “I remember when I was really young, and in the market, coming back from school, I faced it. And I couldn’t do anything about it. I was too young and I was just scared and no one stood up. I mean, it was crowded, but that’s not a justification but I guess almost all women have somewhere dealt with it.”

Shah has received a lot of love and admiration for her roles in Dil Dhadakne Do and Darlings, as well as her most notable portrayal as DCP Vartika Chaturvedi in the second season of Delhi Crime.
