Raj and DK are ready to launch Farzi on the digital platform after developing the Family Man franchise for Amazon Prime. Shahid Kapoor makes his digital acting debut in this series, which also stars Vijay Sethupathi, Raashi Khanna, and Kay Kay Menon but whose story specifics are being kept under wraps. It is touted as a criminal thriller. And now, we can exclusively reveal that Farzi is scheduled to launch in February.
“Shahid Kapoor will make his web debut in February 2023. Farzi is scheduled to be released before the end of the first quarter of 2023, according to a person familiar with the project. The source also stated that the trailer and other marketing materials will begin to circulate around a month before the film’s debut.
Shahid has already voiced his delight for the digital debut during the Farzi launch. The Kabir Singh star said, “It’s so different from what we do in movies. I feel both anxious and eager. I’ve always wanted to try something new and tough. The character and plot of this story, in my opinion, fit every movie I’ve ever made. I eagerly await the audience’s reaction.”

With Kriti Sanon, Shahid is currently filming for the Dinesh Vijan production. It will reportedly be a groundbreaking robotic-based romantic comedy with a late 2023 release date. In addition, the actor appears in the Ali Abbas Zafar-directed film Bloody Daddy, which will shortly have its direct-to-digital debut on Jio’s new platform. Additionally, the actor is signed to Anees Bazmee’s comedy, which is anticipated to begin filming in March of the following year.
