Shah Rukh Khan: In a recent photo from his next movie Pathaan, Shah Rukh Khan has once again showed that age is just a number. Siddharth Anand, the director, also spoke on how the appearance was brought on to the screen.
Shah Rukh Khan’s next action movie Pathaan now has a brand-new still of him from Yash Raj Films. After a break of more than four years, the movie marks Shah Rukh’s much awaited comeback to leading role.

According to reports, Shah Rukh would play the role of a spy in the movie, whose teaser hinted at a global adventure. Pathaan is rumoured to be a part of a shared universe of spy movies made by YRF, along with the War movie starring Hrithik Roshan and the Tiger series starring Salman Khan. Both Salman and Shah Rukh have appeared in cameos for the upcoming third Tiger film as well as Pathaan.
Shah Rukh Khan’s new look revealed
The latest image shows a raged SRK holding a shotgun while sporting war gear. The background shows various Dubai landmarks, and his long hair is blowing in the wind. He was briefly shown in the movie’s teaser, which was released last month on Shah Rukh’s birthday. Deepika Padukone and John Abraham are also featured in the movie.

When Yash Raj Films shared new look of Shahrukh Khan on Instagram page, fans started showing love on the post. One user wrote, “Pathaan look is the best yaar”, other said, “Mausam bigad chuka hai Pathaan se”, another wrote, “King is back”.
Siddharth speaks on SRK’s looks in the films
Director Siddharth Anand stated in a Press conference about Shahrukh Khan’s appearance, “Shah Rukh Khan has sported countless looks that have shaped the pop-culture of our country and inspired generations of youngsters to dress like the king of Bollywood. His looks are associated with moments and memories of people and it won’t be wrong to say that he has made India more fashionable through his style in films. So, it was a task and a big challenge to craft a look that is extremely different for SRK, who is playing a daredevil spy in Pathaan. We wanted to capture the essence of his character which is inherently cool through what he wears and also his hairstyle. We wanted to make SRK the symbol of alpha and machismo, someone who is effortlessly cool and hot at the same time, through his look.”

The actor’s most recent appearance was in the critical and box office failure Zero from 2018. After deciding to take a break, he returned to the big screen this year with three back-to-back cameo appearances in the films Brahmastra, Laal Singh Chaddha, and Rocketry: The Nambi Effect. He stated that he wished to spend more time with his kids.
Shahrukh Khan’s upcoming movie
The actor will appear in three notable movies in the upcoming year. Shah Rukh will play the lead in the films Jawan by director Atlee and Dunki by director Rajkumar Hirani.
