Shah Rukh Khan becomes ONLY indian actor to feature on Empire’s 50 Greatest Actors of All Time List

Shah Rukh Khan was named one of Empire’s 50 Greatest Actors of All Time. The King of Hearts once again shown why he is known as the ‘Badshaah of Bollywood.’ He became the ONLY Indian actor to earn this prestigious award, among Meryl Streep, Viola Davis, Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro, Marilyn Monroe, Heath Ledger, and Natalie Portman among others.

Readers vote for their favorite stars

Here’s how the Empire list was compiled. According to the magazine, readers were invited to vote for their favorite best actors of all time. They chose the name as “the silver-screen stars who always deliver, who have revolutionized the game, and whose particular abilities will never be imitated.”


Devdas Mukherjee (Devdas), Rizwan Khan (My Name Is Khan). Mohan Bhargava (Swades), Rahul Khanna (Kuch Kuch Hota Hain) are among Shah Rukh Khan’s major works and roles. “Ms. Marvel’s favorite movie actor has a career that has now spanned four decades of nearly uninterrupted successes. A fandom of pretty much billions, the magazine stated in praise of SRK’s diversity and brilliance. That takes a lot of charisma and great knowledge of your art.”


Pooja Dadlani, Shah Rukh Khan’s long-time manager, rushed to Instagram a few moments ago to share the fantastic news with followers. Pooja wrote in the caption, “@iamsrk on the Empire list of 50 greatest actors of all time… the only Indian… doing us proud always!”

Shah Rukh Khan Work Front


On the professional front, Shah Rukh has interesting future projects. Pathaan stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in the lead roles. This is the first time SRK is collaborating with John Abraham. Film is directed by Sidharth Anand and Sridhar Raghavan has done the screenplay.
