Salaam Venky: The producers of Salaam Venky had a screening in Mumbai prior to the movie’s theatrical premiere, and the main leads, Kajol and Vishal Jethwa, showed up in style. Aamir Khan, who has a cameo in the movie, too made a splash with a stylish entrance wearing a black T-shirt with blue jeans and a denim jacket. He continues to have his beard and grey hair. Vishal looked sharp in an all-black outfit, while Kajol looked stunning in a saree. Tanisha Mukerji, Kajol’s sister, was also spotted at the screening wearing a saree with a floral pattern. Yuvraj Singh, a cricket player, smiled for the cameras as he entered the theatre.

The movie, directed by Revathi, is based on a true story of a mother’s fight to save her kid from Duchenne muscular dystrophy. The trailer, which shows a loving mother and her son overcoming every problem life throws in their way, was released by the film’s creators in November.
