Since it is Karva Chauth, we have reason to believe that her mehndi was dedicated to her husband-actor Sidharth Malhotra. The tiny star design could be symbolically pointing toward the name ‘Sidharth,’ which means the one who is accomplished and upright, basically a star. The size of the star and the placement in the center could playfully mean, that Sidharth may be a star but he is tiny in front of the lady of the house, Kiara, and is in the palm of her hands.
