Khichdi 2 teaser shows the comeback of the Gujarati family
The trailer introduces the audience to the assignment that the Khichdi ensemble has been entrusted with completing, complete with gorgeous sights and, of course, amusing conversations. Hansa, played by Supriya Pathak, is seen expressing her tiredness at being repeatedly asked to ‘labour’ on the assignment. Kirti Kulhari files a missing report for Himanshu, and the entire Khichdi cast is shortly sighted on a private plane piloted by Pratik Gandhi.
A succession of humorous occurrences culminates with the group jumping out of the plane. Jayshree, played by Vandana Pathak, is seen discussing the mission in mid-air, hinting at their destination, Paanthukistan.
About the film
Jamnadas Majethia reprises his role as Himanshu in the film. Hatsoff Productions’ ‘Khichdi 2’ will be released worldwide on November 17. Aatish Kapadia wrote and directed the film, which was produced by Jamnadas Majethia. This is the second film produced by the ‘Khichdi’ crew, following the success of ‘Khichdi: The Movie’ in 2010.
