Drishyam 2 OTT release: Drishyam 2 released in theatres last week and has become a hit with its release by doing good collection on box office. The film has quickly acclaimed a status of being a classic because of the good reviews from critics and fans.
A large number of viewers went to the multiplexes to watch the suspense thriller on opening weekend, which was supported by the film’s excellent advance bookings.

It makes sense for the film’s producers to postpone its OTT release in order to have a good run at box-office and stop the losses which distributors have been facing since the pandemic era. Reports indicate that a big OTT platform, however, may have acquired the rights to the hit movie’s sequel.
According to reports, Amazon Prime Videos has secured the satellite and digital rights to the film and will soon decide when to broadcast it online.
Ajay Devgn received praise for the film, and also the story. People are now interested to learn what would happen to Vijay Salgaonkar (Ajay Devgn), who manipulated the police to save his family.

For any movie, there is typically a 6-week wait between the theatrical release and the OTT release. Considering how well-received Drishyam 2 is in theatres already, the film’s producers might decide against taking the chance of releasing it early on a streaming service. The movie may, however, be scheduled for OTT distribution in late December or early January if we follow the usual time and schedule.
