Deepika Padukone gives big beautiful smile to Paparazzis at Airport, flies to attend FIFA World Cup

Deepika Padukone: In spite of the recent criticism surrounding her song Besharam Rang from the upcoming film Pathaan, Deepika Padukone doesn’t seem to be bothered by it. She was spotted on Friday at the Mumbai airport, smiling widely at the photographers.

Deepika was seen wearing a white shirt and beige jeans. She carried a black backpack, kept her hair loose, and wore dark sunglasses. Deepika had a big smile on her face the entire time she was in the airport, from getting out of her car to walking through the terminal. She even turned around to smile for the cameras. Apparently, she is travelling to Qatar.

With many criticising Deepika’s look in the song, Besharam Rang has generated a lot of controversy. Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and others are the targets of a complaint petition that was submitted to a court in the Muzaffarpur district of Bihar on Friday, asking for the registration of a FIR against them for “hurting religious sentiments” of Hindus in the song “Besharam Rang.” According to a lawyer from Muzaffarpur named Sudhir Ojha, “The song Besharam Rang of the film Pathaan is objectionable and it hurts the sentiments of the Hindu community.”

President of MP Ulema Board, Syed Anas Ali said, “The sentiments of the Muslim community have been hurt by this film. We will not allow this film to be released, not just in Madhya Pradesh but across the country.”

MP Home minister criticises the song

Narottam Mishra, the MP home minister, objected to the song on Wednesday. He said, “The costumes in the song are objectionable. The song reflects a dirty mindset.”

Further he added, “I advise the makers of the film to fix the objectionable parts of the song. Earlier, Deepika Padukone had stood in support of the ‘Tukde Tukde Gang’ at JNU. Her mentality was exposed. I believe the song’s title ‘Besharam Rang’ is also objectionable. Also, the way the colours saffron and green have been used in the costumes is objectionable. Changes need to be made, failing which we will take a call on whether the film should be screened in Madhya Pradesh.”

John Abraham will share the screen with SRK

Pathaan will release in January. Also, John Abraham will share the screen with Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone.
