Box Office Collection: SRK’s Jawan Breaks Records Yet Again, Crosses 200 Crore in Just 3 Days

Box office collection Jawan: SRK’s Jawan is on its fourth day, streaming in cinemas and its madness has not died down. Shahrukh Khan, since the release of his 2018 film, Zero, has not been seen on screen doing leading roles. The actor did a few cameo and voice-over roles and that is about it. However, this brief break ended with the 2023 blockbuster Pathaan, breaking several records. In the same year, his Jawan was released, breaking even more records yet again. This is a testament to the nation’s love for SRK and their excitement to keep seeing the actor on-screen.

 

Jawan crossed 200 Crore in India

Jawan made a total of 129 crores at the box office worldwide. This movie, released in multiple languages made a total of 75 crore in India on its opening day. However, this movie faced a slight drop on the second day with a box office collection of 53 crore on its second day. However, it went back up on its third day making 74 crore on the weekend.  The movie has since made a total of 202 crore in India. The producer of the film, Red Chillies Entertainment, recently shared on Instagram that the movie has netted a total of 240 crore worldwide. The post is captioned, “Winning hearts and BreaKING records! ”

 

On the third day, the film made 74 crore, with 66 crore people who watched in Hindi, 5 crore in Tamil and 3.5 in Telugu. Therefore, the majority audience watched in Hindi as compared to Tamil and Telugu.

This movie managed to break records to be the biggest Hindi opener and now, the first movie to reach 200 crore in just three days. Pathaan was the only movie that managed to do so in three days, followed by Gadar 2, making 200 crore in 5 days. This Shahrukh Khan mass, directed by Atlee is now showing in theatres nationwide.
