For those who don’t know, Alia married the love of her life, Ranbir Kapoor, on April 14, 2022, and they made their pregnancy public two months later. The newly wedded pair paid no attention to the numerous criticisms that they received from internet users.

Alia Bhatt shared a picture on her Instagram account in which she, Ranbir, and the child are all visible in the image but are blurred, but the baby’s name jersey is in sharp focus. With the post Alia Bhatt wrote the caption, “The name Raha (chosen by her wise and wonderful Dadi) has so many beautiful meanings…Raha, in its purest form means divine path, in Swahili she is Joy, In Sanskrit, Raha is a clan. In Bangla – rest, comfort, relief. In Arabic peace, it also means happiness, freedom & bliss. And true to her name, from the first moment we held her – we felt it ALL! Thank you Raha, for bringing our family to life, it feels as though our lives have only just begun.”
While the entire industry congratulated the first-time parents as soon as the name was revealed, a few online users also filled the comment section with their jokes about the name.
Kareena Kapoor wants to hold Raha
Kareena Kapoor commented on her post and wrote, “Raha Kapoor can I hold you… can’t wait” with red hearts. While Priyanka Chopra said, “God bless Raha”, Anushka Sharma, Ranveer Singh and other actors comments heart emojis in comment section.

Ranbir Kapoor will now be seen with Shraddha Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna in the untitled Luv Ranjan film and Sandeep Vanga’s crime drama Animal, respectively. After that, Kapoor decided to put his daughter’s needs first and chose out of not participating in any more films.
“Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani,” a romantic comedy starring Ranveer Singh, will be Alia Bhatt’s upcoming film. Heart of Stone, a Netflix spy film starring Jamie Dornan and Gal Gadot, will be her hollywood debut. When these two are shot, she will star alongside Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif in Farhan Akhtar’s film Jee Le Zaraa.
