Her recent accolade for the role of Gangubai Kathiawadi proves just that. It’s been 12 years since she first appeared in Bollywood as she made her debut at the age of 18 featuring in ‘Student of the Year.’ Ever since then, she kept on climbing the ladder of success.
Her latest appearance was in a commercial by FabriCare (D’décor). FabriCare has launched their new high performance fabric for curtains that are eligible for hand wash and machine wash. They don’t need to be dry cleaned. Alia appeared in the promotional video as an artist. She was seen delightfully practicing her hobby at the comfort of her luxurious home when out of nowhere she is attacked by a bunch of martial artists. Alia’s house help urges her to not fight at home or it would ruin the exquisite curtains. But Alia replies strangely, “Dhulai to ghar pe hi hogi.” The actress then enters into a brawl with her nemeses and defeats them.
