Alia Bhatt took to Instagram to wish her mother, Soni Razdan, a happy birthday. She posted a vintage photo as well as a recent photo. She also shared a story from one of her birthdays and wrote, “On your birthday I look back at one of my birthdays.. I spent the whole party sitting on your lap cause I was too scared of the inflated Godzilla which I drove you up the wall to get me..But nonetheless I look perfectly content and happy and clearly there’s no place I’d rather be..Happy birthday mothership .. we’d be nothing without you.. grateful for you every single minute every single day..love you.”
Soni Razdan commented on the pictures, “Thank you my sweetheart light of my life and centre of my soul … my lap is yours always and so is my love.”

Alia Bhatt is presently filming ‘Jigra’. For the first time, she collaborated with Vasan Bala on the project. In the film, she will play the lead role. In addition, Alia will co-produce the film with Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. It will be available in September 2024.
