After the success of his latest film ‘Oh My God 2‘, Akshay Kumar is ready with his next film, ‘Sky Force’. The film will hit theaters on October 2, 2024. On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, a brief teaser announcing the release date of the next film was published on social media today, October 2. Our previous Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri was born on October 2, and the film is set during his time. It sparked the excitement among fans for the release as the film features India’s first airstrike on PAK.
Akshay Kumar unveils the release date
Akshay Kumar is very strict and punctual in delivering films on time and this is the reason he does approximately 4-5 movies in a year. After announcing the film Mission Raniganj alongside Parineeti Chopra, he will next be seen in ‘Sky Force.’ The film is an unsung real narrative that portrays the bravery, emotion, and patriotism of all those men in the military who participated in India’s first and most lethal air strike against Pakistan. The teaser for the release date does not show Akshay but it shows Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri.
Sharing the teaser, Akshay wrote in the caption, “No better day than today to announce the incredible story of #SkyForce: Our untold story of India’s first and deadliest airstrike. Give it love, please. Jai Hind, Jai Bharat.”
About the film
Veer Pahariya will make his cinematic debut in a significant role. ‘Sky Force,’ produced by Dinesh Vijan and Jyoti Deshpande, will be co-directed by Sandeep Kelwani and Abhishek Kapur.
