Akshay Kumar accompanied his 10-year-old daughter Nitara to watch James Cameron’s Avatar: The Way Of Water on Sunday. He had previously seen the sci-fi film at a special special screening in Mumbai on Tuesday night. The actor spent quality time with his daughter as the two of them headed off for the highly anticipated sequel. He and Nitara were dressed casually for the film, and they were on their way to a screening in the Mumbai suburbs. Nitara donned a white patterned T-shirt and pants, while Akshay sported a black sweatshirt, trousers, and white sneakers. As he clasped Nitara’s hand behind him, the actor was in protective mode.

Earlier this week, the actor was among a select few who were permitted to see James’ film before its December 16 premiere. Following the screening, an ecstatic Akshay congratulated James Cameron. He tweeted, “Watched #AvatarTheWayOfWater last night and Oh boy!!MAGNIFICENT is the word. Am still spellbound. Want to bow down before your genius craft, @JimCameron . Live on!”

Akshay Kumar appeared in the films Bachchan Pandey, Samrat Prithviraj, Raksha Bandhan, Cuttputlli, and Ram Setu this year. He also had a cameo appearance in Ayushmann Khurrana’s An Action Hero. Selfiee, OMG 2 – Oh My God! 2, Soorarai Pottru remake, and Jaswant Singh Gill biography are all scheduled for release in the coming year. Akshay will also play Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in his debut Marathi film, Vedat Marathe Veer Daudale Saat.
