The actor took to his Twitter to share the news with the official document with his fans across the world. People have been showering love for the same. 

From Canadian to Indian Citizenship

On the occasion of India’s 77th Independence Day, Akshay Kumar took to Twitter to share the news of his successful transition. Posting a photo of his Indian citizenship documents, he proudly declared, “Dil aur citizenship, dono Hindustani. Happy Independence Day! Jai Hind!” This heartfelt announcement resonated with his fans and followers, who congratulated him and wished him a Happy Independence Day in return.

Akshay Kumar’s upcoming projects

Akshay Kumar’s recent release, “OMG 2,” co-starring Pankaj Tripathi, has been performing remarkably well at the box office, even facing tough competition from “Gadar 2.” The actor is also set to appear in the Hindi remake of “Soorarai Pottru,” alongside Radhika Madan and Paresh Rawal, scheduled for a September 1 theatrical release. Additionally, he has an action thriller film, “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan,” alongside Tiger Shroff, slated to hit theaters on Eid 2024.
