10 Years of Student Of The Year: Karan Johar decided to direct a film 10 years ago to direct a film and he launched some newcomers with ‘Student Of The Year’. It’s been a decade that SOTY was released. The filmmaker surely feels like a proud parent as his debutants Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth finish ten years in the industry today. They have gained a massive fan following in ten years.

Karan has shared some special pictures with all three actors on his Instagram with a heart-warming note. The note was also quite humorous. Karan Johar wrote in the caption of these photos, “Down the years with my students of every year! So proud of their cinema journey! It’s no Raaz(I) that they have mastered the ABCD of their craft and emerged as Shershaahs of goodness and talent! Love you!❤️ #10yearsofsoty”
The great and popular designer of Bollywood Manish Malhotra also commented on his post and wrote, “10 years to a very special film and some very special careers.” Karan Johar also shared a reel note about making this film with these stars. He confessed that he started ‘SOTY’ as a holiday film. He said that he likes to shower love on Varun, Sidharth, Alia like he does on his children Yash and Roohi.
