Top 10 IMDb Web Series: The Most Popular Indian web series in 2022, according to IMDB, is Neena Gupta’s Panchayat.
Neena Gupta’s Panchayat is ranked number one on IMDb’s list of the Most Popular Indian web series this year. Shefali Shah’s two web series i.e. Delhi Crime and Human, are included. Along with Kunal Kemmu’s Abhay and the SonyLIV series Gullak, the list also includes Jim Sarbh and Ishwak Singh’s Rocket Boys.

The Timeliners’ YouTube channel’s NCR Days, MX Player’s Campus Diaries, and TVFPlay’s College Romance were also included on the list.

About the web series
Arunoday Singh, Nidhi Singh, and Saanand Verma star in Voot Select’s Apharan, which is on the list too. It centres on Arunoday’s Rudra, who performs the role of a senior police inspector sent on a mission to arrest a wanted criminal with his personal life in crisis.
In large part, 2022 was a year of second instalments. Season 2 saw the return of everyone from Panchayat, Delhi Crime, and Gullak. But in season 3, Kunal’s Abhay made a comeback.
Shefali is the only person with two web series on the list, having also produced a hit with the Netflix feature Darlings this year. Rasika Dugal, Rajesh Tailang, and Adil Hussain, members of the original cast, made a stunning return in her show Delhi Crime. Shefali was also a part of the web series Human, which also starred Kirti Kulhari and dealt with the serious subject of drug trials. It was shown on Disney+ Hotstar.

As the program’s original cast of Jeetendra Kumar, Raghubir Yadav, Saanvika, and Chandan Roy returned, Neena Gupta’s Panchayat received a lot of appreciation as well. The show was released on Amazon Prime.
According to IMDb, all the web series that were released in India between January 1 and November 7, 2022, and that have an average user rating of 7 or higher on IMDb with at least 10,000 votes, these 10 series have consistently received the most votes from IMDb users, as shown by the actual page views of the site’s more than 200 million monthly visitors from around the world.
