Darshan: While promoting his new movie Kranti in Hosapete, Kannada movie hero Darshan was hit with a slipper. At the event, which took place on Sunday night, hundreds of fans gathered to watch the premiere of a song from the movie. In the viral video on social media, Darshan is seen being struck by a slipper thrown at him by an unknown person in the crowd.

Slipper thrown at Darshan during the event
In the video, Darshan could be seen approaching the audience from the front of the stage. A slipper was suddenly thrown at him, striking him in the shoulder. Everyone was surprised by the incident, which also raised a lot of heat among the audience. Darshan, however, kept everyone calm by keeping his cool after the initial shock. Despite this mishap, the rest of the evening went as planned.

Now, fans are very disheartened and they want that person should be arrested who had thrown the slipper at Darshan.
Due of his problematic connection with the mainstream media in Karnataka, Darshan is already at the centre of attention. A phone call that Darshan purportedly used to criticise the media for showing every facet of his life had previously gone viral. Many prominent news outlets boycotted Kranti’s advertising activities as a result of the incident.
To inform the public about Kranti, Darshan and his team have contacted online media outlets and social media influencers.
Bombe Bombe, the second single tune to be released from the movie’s music album, was unveiled at the event on Sunday. Dharani was the debut single.

About the movie Kranti
The author and director of Kranti is V. Harikrishna. He is also the film’s music composer. Along with Darshan, Rachita Ram, Ravichandran, and Sumalatha are featured in the movie. It will be released in theatres in January.
