Health Tips: Bollywood actresses go through a lot of disciplined fitness to lead a healthy and fit body. Partly, it is because these actresses have to conform to a certain body type to get appropriate roles. Therefore, a good workout and diet plan is a must. However, several fad diets may help you achieve the body but in an unhealthy way. Kareena Kapoor Khan, on the other hand, prefers a healthy and balanced diet to keep her body functioning well while losing weight. This helps her achieve zero-figure.

Breakfast

She starts off her day with a spoonful of ghee or clarified butter on an empty stomach. This is said to help with many tissues in the body by strengthening them. It also aids in keeping the joints and knees strong as we keep ageing.

For breakfast, she eats a bowl of muesli with some fresh fruits and nuts like bananas, berries and almonds. Museli is a great source of fibre that fills you up without building unhealthy carbs in your body. It is also rich in probiotics. Moreover, it is low in sugar and facilitates weight loss. Moreover, the fruits and nuts increase metabolism and detoxify the body.

Lunch

Before lunch, she enjoys a glass of ginger lemonade. For lunch, she likes a protein meal that involves dal chawal or roti with dal and paneer. She also puts a dollop of ghee on her dal chawal.

Snack

She does not snack on anything unhealthy. Instead, she opts for healthy alternatives that facilitate weight loss. This involves makhanas, fruits like papaya and nuts.

Dinner

For dinner, she eats simple food such as Dal chawal, a bowl of vegetable soup, roti or salad.
