Taylor Swift to make her feature film directorial debut soon with Searchlight pictures

Taylor Swift: According to a recent announcement by Searchlight Pictures, American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift is planning to direct her first feature film. The Grammy Award-winning artist has written an original narrative, which the studio will develop, according to the reports. More information on the project is still awaited.

Taylor is a once in a generation artist and storyteller

As per reports, Searchlight Presidents David Greenbaum and Matthew Greenfield said, “Taylor is a once-in-a-generation artist and storyteller. It is a genuine joy and privilege to collaborate with her as she embarks on this exciting and new creative journey.”

At the 2022 VMA Honors, Swift just made history by becoming the first solo artist to ever win two Best Direction awards for her efforts on the films “The Man” and “All Too Well: The Short Film.”

Swift has won Album of the Year three times

Swift is the first female artist in Grammy history to have won Album of the Year three times, which is their most coveted honour. In total, she has won 11 Grammys. According to Deadline, Swift recently screened All Too Well: The Short Film, a 14-minute film, using an unique 35mm print at the 2022 Tribeca Film Festival and Toronto International Film Festival.

Emma Stone, Jesse Plemons, and Willem Dafoe are likely to star in Yorgos Lanthimos’ upcoming film, which was recently announced by Searchlight Pictures. The Banshees of Inisherin by Martin McDonagh, The Menu by Mark Mylod, Empire of Light by Sam Mendes, Next Goal Wins by Taika Waititi, and Chevalier by Stephen Williams are among the recent and future releases.
